Definitely not the album to buy for those who like screaming guitars and thundering drums. However, the light pop sound combined with some quirky carribean/disco flavorings make this an OK record every now and then. Singer Rolland Gift has a pleasant vocal style and the band supports him without being overbearing. Whereas this is not mind blowing stuff, the fairly hip collection of songs are definitely danceable if nothing else.
