This band attacked the radio with four or five singles from one album, similar to Weezer's supposed rise in fame. Although they recently split, their music is still catches some of the essense of modern culture. Their music is tight, as their crisp cuts and transitions make their sound so exciting. STP is a great example of a rock band that's radio friendly, but still knows how to stay relevant to their fans. If you don't like their singles, then don't buy this disc, because they are the highlights of the album. The other tracks are decent, as some would think that they were fillers, but others would view it as beauty. The STP take the listener through emotional twists ranging from anger to contentement. Their singles are a lot harder than many of their other tracks. Overall an effective, and satisfying musical experience.
