Allman Brothers

Their music is for every mood. With two people supporting the percussion section, a unique guitar playing setup where two players play the same melodies, and decent singing. The Allman Brothers are definitely musically superb because of their use of melodies, variety, and originality. Their guitar playing is superb following only Jimi Hendrix in revolutionary content. Once their style becomes familiar, there is no turning back, because it is so interesting and a real treat. Fillmore East is a classic live C.D and some essentials are "In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed", "Jessica" and "Whipping Post". A great band. Check it out. I'm going to their concert in August, 1998, so watch out for a concert review.
