Blues Traveler

Four 78

Although there is little better dealing with harmonica work, that’s all that I look forward to. There is a single or two in each album and this keeps them alive. The singing is tolerable, but boring after a few listens. I don’t seem to get anything out of their music. It’s so bouncy that it makes the listener feel noxious. This is the least favorite of Blues Traveler albums, but they carry on what they already have done involving a heavy blues influence. For those searching for good instrumentals check out the harmonica and enjoy. The music however is meaningful and effective which is why I listen to it.

Straight Till Morning 73

I don't know what it is with Blues Traveler, but I keep on getting their discs. This one has about three classic songs, and the rest are average, almost a rip off of some other bands. Maybe they're trying to change their style. If you're a Blues Traveler fan, then you'll enjoy this one, but for first time Blues Traveler fans, this won't turn you on.
