Bob Dylan

Good As I Been To You 80

This is an excellent selection, but I can see that some people wouldn’t like his voice very much, so it’s not for everyone. He’s not my favorite, but I respect him for his music and constant quality of it. The most fascinating part of this blues influenced rock is the light guitars that are intricately woven into the words that make it so interesting. It’s a good disc, but then again I haven’t heard that many Dylan records. Give it a shot, because you’ll probably find either beauty or ugliness. I personal can tolerate his voice on this disc, but it could be better. It’s relaxing music that gets you into this kind of cool meditation.

I'm not a huge fan of Bob Dylan, and in no case an expert, but I do know that he is a legend and everyone should take out the time to appreciate his music. I would be grateful to anyone who could help me with the 50 reviews that I have to make for him.

Time Out of Mind: 77

He has regained a lot of his vocal talents in this album which showcases a soid set of Dylan songs without many tunes that stick out. A few of the songs are great which effect me deep within. Not a memorable record, but certainely an effective piece of art which expresses himself. I think this album has enough strong points to eventually over rule the negative factors to make it worthy of the money you invest in it.
