Jefferson Starship

Blows Against the Empire: 55

I think you need to be spaced out to appreciate this disc. It's a bit out of this world, and often lost in the myst. It's a 60's band, and I don't think they will bridge the gap between generations because it was the center of physadelia. They made some great music, and a lot of so so material. I think it was more of a scene than a music thing at times. They did a lot of cool experimentation and came out with one of the most interesting styles in the 60's. A worthy band for the druggies out there.

Gold: 87

This is the kind of their music that I like. It's a well rounded disc without any disappointments. Good, solid songs that get into the coolness of physadelia. A strong piece of music that I strongly recommend starting out with.
