Robbie Robertson

Self- titled: 69

He’s just getting warmed up here, but it still promises some good music. It’s enjoyable, but repetitive at times. I like it every once in a while, but those few listenings make it special because of his unique voice, excellent surrounding cast, and interesting ideas. Tiresome after a while, but it definitely has substance. If you like Storyville, then check this one out because it is good, but not as good. It's a very spiritual album which makes it special once the listener becomes familiarized with his music.

Storyville: 90

This is a revolutionary album with lots of cool, calming music. It gives you time to reflect and to think about what’s been going on in the last little while. I love this album because it catches interest fast and it never fades till the end. All the songs vary in some distinct way, but always seem to as much. A definite buy because it really affects the listener. A definite classic.

Robbie Robertson & the Red Road Ensemble: 45

A disappointing album with little new ideas put forth. I don’t know where it went, but maybe a better album next time. This was a poor album and I don’t think anyone should experience the bad sides of artists. I think that paying a tribute to his ancestory was a great idea, but I didn't like the way he did it.
