Root and Rap

Concert experience: They were another opening band for Rage Against the Machine. If there is such a thing as good rap, this is it. Although each artist sounds the same in the rap industry, I was impressed that Root exemplified the paramount of rap. Not glorious, not pretty, but about as good as it gets. The best part that distinguishes them from other bands was their unusual sound effects made by one of the rapper's voice. This was really cool and unlike anything I've ever heard. I don't understand why people listen to rap because it gets me in a worse mood than before, and it becomes repetative. It still baffles me how the rap world can make money by creating this tough ganster look, and doing all these all so cool stupid things to prove their gansterness. It's the biggest joke in the music world. They create a boundary between East and West coast so they can transmit their hatred towards some imaginary line drawn across the U.S. Why are so many rappers getting killed? It's because what they have created has screwed things up and instead of bringing people together, has seperated them. I can honestly say that this music is the most negative and thoughtless ever created. It just amazes me that so many people can fall for this deadly trap of the ganster rap.
