Another starting album for a soon to be great band. Their later music is much better so I wouldn’t recommend this c.d.
Pure rock with every tune being unique and well, frankly awesome. I listen to it almost every day and haven’t gotten sick of it for about 3 years. A great experience that is definitely worth your money.
Following the previous compact disc’s awesome rock with more great tunes. The Tragically Hip are good with their instruments, and vary their music to make it an interesting ride. A fully enjoyable piece of music.
An okay c.d. for the Hip’s standards, but nevertheless an c.d. that is ideal for occasional listening. The long listening ability of Fully Completely and Up To Here, but an good rock experience.
This is their darkest c.d., but this twist maintains the interest of a Tragically Hip fan. As usual not a bad tune on the c.d. Another great experience complements of The Hip. This is The Hip’s newest c.d., but not one of their better. It has the occasional interesting song that makes the singles, but it is suprisingly mediocre. You need to give this c.d. a chance because it takes a while to warm up to. It's great for occasional mellow moods. If you want The Hip’s amazing music, get Fully Completely then Up to Here, and then Day For Night. Most of their material throughout is amazing. Definitely one of the bright spots in the 90’s.
Concert experience: I went to an awesome concert and they played for so long that it seemed like it was never going to end. Which is good of course. They are a great concert band and show their skills on the guitar and singing to be up to par constantly. Definetly worth ever cent of the ticket price. An interesting thing is that their light show is simple, yet very effective.
